The Corruption is a mod included in the Sad's Fanon Modpack.
Additions[]
Blocks[]
- Corruption: A block type that spreads and "infects" areas, causing them to lose plant/crop growth, kill animals, and spawn in higher-tier monsters.
- Sprayer: A machine fueled by Antivirus which will keep a surrounding cylinder of blocks free of corruption.
- Corrupt Tallgrass: Appears as the infected form of tallgrass, which appears in corrupted areas in lieu of the Corruption block replacing tallgrass.
- Corrupt Grass Block: A purple-tinted form of grass block, which will appear when Corruption infects grass.
- Corrupt Dirt: A purple-tinted form of dirt, which will appear when Corruption infects grass or farmland.
Items[]
- Spray Bottle: A new item that can be filled with water to make livestock obey you, lava to deal small amounts of damage continuously, or Antivirus to destroy Corruption.
Mobs[]
- Corrupt Mobs: Variants of the vanilla monsters, but bigger, stronger, faster, and more corrupt.
- Scuttler: A corrupted crablike monster that is immune to swords and weak to pickaxes.
- Entomber: A large oily black spirit that jumps high and deals lots of damage.
Other[]
- Antivirus: A green liquid type that fights Corruption. Can be used on its own or fitted into multiple blocks and items.
- Corrupt Biome: A biome completely covered by the Corruption block. Very large, always surrounded by a river.

Appearances[]
- In Creatures of the Void, the city Ke'ena Kapu became the Corruptis after Worian Fratier failed with an unknown technological combination to take control of the city, which backfired by coating the place in Corruption.
